Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog, I know its been a while since I have posted a blog post, but I have been super busy recently! I want to try and start doing at least one blog post a week and eventually doing more then one a week. Anyways lets get into this blog!
If you know me, you know I LOVE Linda Hallberg, she (and the Pixiwoo sisters) are the reason I wanted to learn how to do makeup. I first saw her looks on Pinterest and they were so unique, unlike anything I had ever seen; to me that was what I called art! I thought to myself I want to be able to create looks like that one day! Although I am far from being as good as she is, I am learning everyday and now creating looks that are more on the creative side; and I LOVE it!! A year ago, Linda launched her own makeup line, and I was SO excited about it! I got her Infinity Palette at Christmas and I fell in love with it and the brushes, I use it all the time! That is one of the only palettes that I have hit pot on, on three different shades!! A few months ago when they announced that they were coming out with crayons, I was so excited to try them; especially the mood crayons! I could just imagine all the different looks I could create with them! So without me further rambling on lets get into what I think about them!

I bought the whole Mood Crayons collection, which I paid $52.00 for. You can buy each crayon individually for $15.00. They also came out with a Core Crayon Collection which has more neutral colors, and I did get one of them and that is the black one. The first three crayons that are pictured above as the names say, are Likable Mood Crayon, Daring Mood Crayon and Happy Mood Crayon. All three of these crayons are really smooth and creamy. The most pigmented of the three I would say would be the Daring Mood Crayon. The least pigmented of the three would have to be the Happy Mood Crayon, but yellow is normally not as pigmented as other colors. That being said I have worked with all three of these shades and they all go on your eyes really really well, they blend like a dream, and the colors all show up really well! The only thing is, is that you have to work quite quickly with them because once they set they do not budge!!

The next three/last crayons are Calm Mood Crayon, Cool Mood Crayon and Black Core Crayon. Just like the other three crayons they are all very velvety, smooth and pigmented. I would say from this group the black is the most pigmented. It is so hard to find true black eyeshadows, crayons, eye pencils etc. and I have to say this is a true black! The great thing about this black crayon is it blends just as easy as the mood crayons do. You also have to work quite fast because once these crayons set, they are set for the day and do not budge. I tried washing them off with water and that was really hard, eventually some of them started coming off with water but not all the way. So when you want to take these off, all you have to use is a makeup remover wipe and they come right off! I have noticed from some other products that they will stain your eyelids even after you have removed them, but these do not, which is a big bonus for me as I do a lot of different creative looks!
The one downside is that if you do not have a proper makeup pencil sharpener, because they are so creamy, they do break off easily and are hard to sharpen. That is my fault because I do not have a good sharpener, so I went through these pretty quickly. For most people who do not create creative looks like me and do not use a lot of product from these crayons, they will last you a very long time.
Overall I would give these a 9/10 rating, they are creamy, very blendable, they stay put and are true to pigmentation!! I will be buying the Core Crayon collection here very soon and repurchasing the Mood Crayon collection.

Here are the swatches of all the different colors, and as you can tell they all swatched really well! Another plus is that this brand is completely cruelty free, which is something I look for when I purchase any kind of beauty products!! I cannot wait for all the other amazing things this brand will come out with!! Linda Hallberg is still my favorite makeup artist and she inspires me everyday with her amazing looks that she does!! If you have not already go check out her YouTube and Instagram! I will link them down below!
Alright guys, I am going to go to bed, I am writing this blog post really late at night (per usual), so I will talk to you guys in my next blog! As always let me know what you think and if you have any requests on different products or things I should review/do!
