Urban Decay Naked Heat Review

If you know me you know that I was SOO excited to get this palette in the mail!! When Urban Decay announced that they were having a pre-sale on this palette I made sure to buy it! One of my favorite palettes of all time is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, because of all the warm toned shades in it. So when Urban Decay announced that they were coming out with a warm toned eye shadow palette, I was beyond excited! This is the 5th Naked palette that Urban Decay has come out with and like all the other palettes it retails for $54 in the US and $60 in Canada. The palette will be available online and in stores sometime in July, I could not find the exact date. I want to keep this post short and sweet so I will just dive right in to what I think about this palette.

First of all I want to say I am in LOVE with the packaging for this palette, this is by far (in my opinion) the most beautiful packaging for a Naked palette that Urban Decay has come out with. When I first swatched this colors, I found that some of them were really pigmented while others were not really at all. For instance Ounce barely showed up on my hand and when I used a brush to swatch it, it did not really show up at all. The color Chaser was also not showing up so great as a swatch either and when you feel some of the shades they just are not as buttery in texture as for instance the Naked or Naked 2 palette shadows are. Now having said that, when you go to put them on your eyes they are SUPER pigmented, the only shade that I have found that does not really show up is the shade Ounce, I think they could have done a better job with that shade. The shimmery shades are to die for they are so beautiful!! Some of the matte shades I have never seen in another palette so that is nice, because we all know that there are a lot of other warm toned eye shadow palettes out there. For me personally I do not regret purchasing this palette just because these are shades that I use very regularly, and I love that they put shades in there that I have not seen before. Now if you are a cool toned eye shadow person, this palette will not be for you as all of the shades in here are warm toned.

Needless to say if I were to rate this palette on a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being the worst and 10 being the best) I would rate it an 8.5. I will link some cheaper options to this palette down below. I hope you enjoyed this review, a video of all the swatches and my first impressions will be up on my YouTube channel soon. If you want to see some looks that I did using this palette go check out my Instagram! Alright guys, I am signing off now because it is almost 12 am so I will talk to you in my next blog post! Good night Everyone!!
