Hello Everyone! Welcome to my blog, this was a look that I created about a week ago. I hadn't done anything with warm eyeshadow colors in a while, so I decided to do a warm smokey eye. If you know me, you know that my favorite warm eye
shadow palette is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance, but I wanted to try a different palette for once! So I used the Morphe 350M & S Palettes for this look, and I will put pictures down below of the exact colors I used.
I filmed this look as a "Oily Skin Foundation Routine" and I will link the video somewhere in this blog post. I used to have oily skin, and now have dry skin after having my daughter. I did want to share what I used to do for my oily skin and how I applied makeup to make it last all day long. I want to give you some tips on what I did when I had oily skin, so here they are:
1. Wash your face as soon as you get up in the morning, as well as at the end of the day.
Face wash examples:
Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser and Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser (great for the morning)
Glam Glow Daily Clearing Cleanser (will help with acne and wash off all your makeup) this one is on sale so if you want to buy it, buy it now!!

2. Exfoliate your face
I cannot tell you how important it is to exfoliate your face, at least it was for me! It helped smooth my skin as well as control my oil. Here are some of my favorite exfoliators:
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Scrub (great for more sensitive skin)
Biore Cleansing Scrub Baking Soda (baking soda really helps for acne)

3. Use Moisturizer
So many people think that if you have oily skin you should not use moisturizer, and that is NOT true! If you do not use any moisturizer on your skin, your skin will compensate the no moisture for oil; which leaves your skin oilier. Now, you have to use the right moisturizer for your skin. Here are some of my faves:
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel
Norwex Face & Neck Gel
Tarte Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost

4. Honey Masks
One thing that REALLY helped my oily skin was doing a honey mask 2-3 times a week and leaving it on for 30 mins. The one thing though, is you have to use raw unfiltered honey. I am very lucky that I have friends who sell their own honey, so I get completely raw honey, and if you can find someone local that sells honey, then buy that one! Honey is known for its healing properties, so can you imagine what it can do for you skin? No matter what skin type you have, honey masks will help your skin. There are so many different recipes online, on different types of honey masks, I will have some links below:

Ok, so now that we have talked about skincare, lets talk about some important steps to take when you apply makeup for oily skin.
1. Use moisturizer every time before you apply makeup.
2. Use a silicone based primer, as it will help your foundation to last longer and help control oil.
3. Use a long lasting foundation/foundation for oily skin
4. Set your face with powder and setting spray
